C-PORT-E researchers are uncovering important information about the provision of elective angioplasty services to determine what is best for heart patients, what kind of hospitals should provide angioplasty services, and under what conditions each hospital should perform these procedures.
Unfortunately, health organizations that wish to maintain the
status quo want to stop the demonstration project before it
is over so that doctors never get the facts they need to determine
what is best for the future care of patients with blocked arteries.
What can you do to help ensure the study moves forward? SIGN OUR PETITION below to voice your support for continuing the elective angioplasty study in New Jersey. We will see to it that the decision makers know that your voice is heard.

The C-PORT-E elective angioplasty study is designed to keep New Jersey and other participating states on the cutting edge of health care. The result will help policymakers plan for the future needs of heart patients. The study is conducted with strict adherence to criteria and standards to ensure patient safety.
This study should be allowed to continue. If we want to get the facts about elective angioplasty, we must let the researchers finish their work.
I, the undersigned, support New Jersey’s continued participation in the C-PORT-E demonstration project.
